You’re Not in The West End Now

You’re Not In The West End Now!’ is a new Musical Comedy show, written and performed by Katie McGarry.

Tickets to the West End are expensive these days and with the cost-of-living crisis still in full swing, Katie is creating a show for the common folk – like her. Welcome to the ‘Twix Club’. Not quite the KitKat Club and severely lacking in chandeliers and red velvet, Katie must make do with what she can get her hands on. Join her on a chaotic journey through Musical Theatre’s greatest hits – a love letter with a twist, from small town Medway chav to the twinkling lights of London, a turbulent love life, failed career, to becoming a single-mum and temporarily losing her voice and mind, as she begs the question – is life really a cabaret old chums?

A relatable, hilarious and often poignant parody that even those that protest to hate Musical theatre, will find hard not to love.

‘You’re Not In The West End Now’ is in partnership with Phoenix Arts Club and Screaming Alley CIC and is a part of the Camden Fringe Festival

Doors 6pm. Showtime 6.30pm. 60mins no interval.
