Nick flies to Sunset Boulevard, to stay with a double Oscar winner promising to get him nominated too – if Nick just follows his exact instructions… An Underbelly satire on the underbelly of Hollywood, Life with Oscar peeks behind the Oscars curtain, lifting the lid on the luxurious Los Angeles lifestyle.

Nick Cohen’s direction bears all the hallmarks of a Theatre de Complicite graduate. The choice of work is daring, the imagery is striking, the acting understated yet bold. (Time Out)

The Olive Tree

The Olive Tree, written and performed by Jessica Forrest (Hollyoaks, Coronation Street, Dani’s Castle) is Jessica’s debut solo show. The idea came alive after moving from South East London to central Italy and unexpectedly nursing her next-door neighbour as she died suddenly of a rare type of lung cancer. The Olive Tree is ‘a show not to be missed‘ and was nominated for Best Theatre Award with The Offies at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2022.

Jessica is a recognisable television actress having played regular, Leanne Holiday in Channel 4’s Hollyoaks for four years and Clare in the Hit CBBC kids TV Show Dani’s Castle. Jessica also featured in Jane Horrock’s Sky Arts series The Cruise and the old time soap classic Coronation Street.

7pm doors and 7.30pm show. Run Time approx. 2 hours with a 20 minute interval.
