Bobby's Open Jam House

Join pianist and vocalist Bobby Goulder and his house band for an evening of collective music making at the Phoenix Arts Club.

Punctuated by performances from Bobby’s trio, the stage will be open for any and all musicians to come up and jam the night away.

All instruments and voice types welcome, all genres encouraged, all musical backgrounds championed. Bobby’s set will be a fusion of jazz, neo-soul and classic pop featuring live vocoder harmonisation.

Bring your instrument (unless piano or drums) Either submit a song you’d like to play in advance or simply choose something there and then.

Attendance is encouraged even if you don’t want to play. The atmosphere will be ad hoc, positive and inclusive with the focus being on creating musical moments never heard before and unlikely to be heard again!

We're passionate about keeping grassroots music accessible to everyone! As an independent venue, we also need to cover our costs, so while tickets are free, we warmly encourage you to buy a "pay what you can" ticket on the night to help us keep live music thriving.
